It’s hard to believe that the first time I met these two was at their engagement session, because it feels like I’ve known them for years! That just speaks to the type of people they are… so thoughtful, caring, joyful, and others-centered. I was able to recognize that right away when Morgan and I had our first FaceTime chat about her wedding. It was soon after Mav was born and she was so sweet, so understanding, and caring about the season I was in with a newborn. She was wanting to see Mav, talk about my boys, and the whole time I kept thinking… this is supposed to be about you! I was thrilled when she told me her and Micah wanted to book me for their wedding, because I just know it’s going to be such a special day… because of who they are!

They met while in college at Purdue University and got engaged just a little over a month ago! Morgan grew up in Zionsville, IN, which just happens to be the cutest little town ever!  Micah wanted to propose somewhere special to her so he popped the question at Lions Park, a park in her hometown that was a big part of her life growing up! They decided they wanted to have their engagement photos taken there since thats where they got engaged… how fitting right? So we met up at the park and they showed me the exact spot Micah proposed! It was so sweet! We took a few photos there and then headed to the quaint little downtown area after that! If you haven’t been to Main Street in Zionsville you’ve got to check it out! I love the cobblestone streets, the cute little nooks and alleys everywhere, and all of the greenery and brick! It’s beautiful!

After that when the sun started to set we headed back to Lions Park to capture that golden hour and it was just so much fun! It’s the best when you have couples like these two that love to laugh and make it so easy! This was one of those nights that I didn’t want to end! Thankfully I don’t have to wait too long to get these two back in front of my camera, because they’ll be getting married this upcoming March! Yay!

Morgan + Micah… what a privilege it is to get to capture your love story! Thank you for trusting me to do it! You both reflect Jesus so much and I can’t wait to see what God does through your marriage in the years to come! Until then…. enjoy a few of my favorites from your Zionsville, Indiana engagement session!
